ACP TECHNOLOGY

The Advanced Cascade Process (ACP)

is the most advanced developed version of the Hostalen Slurry Process used to make multi-modal HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE.
The reactors are set up in cascades and allow the production of HDPE with multi-modal molecular weight distribution as well as incorporation of defined comonomer content.

The advantages of the ACP technology:

  • High stiffness and improved resistance to stress cracking
  • Multi-modal with high to very high molecular weight ends
  • Online grade change without production shutdown
  • Tailored properties to suit special applications
