Film Grades

TASNEE low density polyethylene is manufactured using the Lupotech T method and has certain advantages that make it most feasible to film applications. Due to the outstanding properties of polyethylene more than 50% of the total polyethylene usage is for those film applications.
* It does not allow water and steam to permeate but has a good permeability for carbon dioxide and oxygen. These characteristics are especially desired for packaging.
* Non-oxidizing acids, bases, salts and their solutions practically have no effect on polyethylene. In order to avoid photochemical oxidation by UV radiation which causes fine cracks in the material, light stabilizers are being added to LDPE. The film types and applications and requirements are shown in the table.
