OBJECTIVES
The TASNEE Plastic Research Centre
is a pool of talent, competencies and expertise in the plastics industry. Equipped with world class facilities for application, process technologies and characterization labs, it promotes and enhance the local & regional plastics down stream industries.
It was built and installed to
- Conduct applied research activities for development of new products
- Provide technical support activities to Tasnee Marketing and customers
- Assist the manufacturing units in resolving production and quality problems
- Run joint research programs with licensors and universities around the world
- Provide training and courses for in-house staff and customers.

The start-up new HD/LD polyethylene cracker of TASNEE from early 2009, is operating under full load. From now on we can increase the production volume monthly.
September 2009
In the year 2009, TASNEE set with a large investment in the chemical business, an Acrylic Monomer Plant with DOW. Meanwhile TASNEE is the world 2nd largest producer of Titanium Dioxide.
