Film Grades
TASNEE uses polypropylene to produce biaxially oriented film (BOPP) because polypropylene is in many ways an ideal polymer for packaging film. It is resistant to grease and oil, resists moisture permeation, is abrasion resistant, provides high tensile strength even at elevated temperatures and possesses good impact resistance at very low temperatures.

In the early 1960s BOPP film was already used for food packaging and still today it is the preferred packaging material in the snack food, bakery and candy industry.
Snack food packaging is the largest single application because BOPP film has excellent moisture barrier properties, stiffness, gloss, printability and keeps crispness of the content. Special coatings can provide excellent oxygen barrier properties if required. BOPP film is also used in the electronics industry for electrical insulation of capacitors.
